Lovely and befitting tribute Jim.
Lew had an awesome collection which I was able to enjoy through the forum as well as his insightful posts. I pray for strength for his family during this testing time. |

Lew was a dedicated collector, and always willing to help.

I had no idea.
My condolences to all those who knew him and knew him well, and while I have only ever known him in/from/through the forum, in the forum his presence will forever be missed. My thoughts and prayers to all his family, friends, and fellow forumites. ![]() |

Greatly saddened and shocked by this news ....when I first joined the forum, Lew was always willing to educate me on the African pieces I had newly started to collect. Helpful and friendly.... I will miss his presence on this forum
My sympathies and condolances to his family David |

I am but a casual visitor here. But in this, and any case of great loss, my prayers go out to his family and friends. It's never easy. All we can do, is trust in God to ease our pain. Whether we believe it or not, he does have a plan. May he rest in peace.
