			Hi Edward, Any pictures from this or any other museums showing Indian weapons  . Does the Bhubaneshwar museum have a catalogue, and if yes, do you have the e-mail address? I know photographing in museums is not easy, but you have done very well. Jens PS. Should anyone be in doubt, Bhubaneshwar is in Orissa, a very ancient town. 			Thanks for the pic of the plaque. Unfortunately, Indian museums are not very detailed about their items. Everything is "17-18 century" and nothing else. Their academic level leaves much to be desired. What a pity, they have at their disposal such a wealth of material, but nobody seems to pay attention. |

			Hi jens  realy no other good pics, They could not find the key to the room i dont think they have any email or printed info the weapons collection is small other items in museum 30 rifle/6 cannon/1 shield/2 patas over door.any weapon inparticular your looking for? Great museum large collection of things just not alot of weapons |

			Yes, very interesting museum, and especially good sculpture collection. The sculpture exhibition was closed when I was there but they kindly let me in anyway.  Here is the Odisha / Orissa museum website: http://orissamuseum.nic.in Many museums in india allows photo for a small fee but unfortunately the tribal museum did not. I might have some images from Delhi. |
