Hi
the best book in this regard: "Petite Histoire du stylet Corse" by Jean-louis Leccia. In this book, this type of stylet, called "a la genoise" (Genoa, Italy) called. the handle materials are different. The two are black wood and the fittings are brass, nickel plated brass (?)
