			didn't want to hijack charles's thread so i'm staring this new one regarding budiaks with decorated ferrules. this particular one is more traditional since the decoration is in okir fashion. although the spearhead doesn't have a twistcore, it does have naga inlays on both sides. Maranao. |

			Ron,  here is another one with decoration on silver.  This one has twistcore blade.

			We'll need to get Battara to chime in here but I am not sure that the silver work on Nacho's example is Moro, though I am no expert in that area. It looks very Indonesian to me, perhaps Sumatran. I wonder about the blade as well; I am just not sure it is a Moro blade. Gorgeous though, nonetheless. |

			Well, the spear in question confuses me.  The blade does look somewhat Moro but the silver work on the sleeve looks Indonesian.      |
