Yianni,
I am alittle worried, i have just seen an identical shield in the house of a friend some days ago. His is from Georgia, as the seller told him... It seems very similar and i remember it didnt had remains of old cloth behind... Could be a reproduction? I have just heard that in Georgia they do reproductons of kindjal scabbards by "using leftover machines from te soviet era space programme"!!! The language seems Georgian. |

I was so sure it was persian that I didnt ask the origin of the shield!
Very stupid behavior for someone who "search" edged weaponsThe question remains, can anyone read it? Eftihis, it is the same shield, your friend is also my friend

Right on, Rivkin, good job. Design wise, how can you make the difference between ,,Persian,, and ,,Georgian,, type (if any) other than the text in this case ?
