Hi Detlef,
Thanks for placing the restore photo,s ![]() Yes I think the handle completes this keris , but i.m still not happy with the mendak. So when i find a proper one i will replace it. regards, danny |

Danny, based upon what I can see in the photos, this mendak is absolutely correct and cannot be improved on.
It is possible that it may have been squashed a bit, but even if it has been, this doesn't matter --- its an old keris, slight imperfections only add to its character. |

I completely agree with Alan. And the restoration of the scabbard just improved the keris to what it should be.
