How is the 1920 date reached?
Is there an explanation for the jimping on the tang just below the hilt, it reminds me of those little notches on skean dhub.

From what I was told the ivory hilted ones were often made to sell or trade to European farmers and or land owners during the 1920-30s. Luc can explain better about this than I.
