Similar try : almost identical

Difficult to guess age, Detlefs example is maybe unused and very well preserved. If it is recent, I would be amazed by the quality carving.
I vote for well preserved.
The blades of batak weapons are often simple unlayered. This blade does not give me the idea of being newly made.

I don't think so, your one was missing some bands, the colour of the horn was different and so far I can see was the handle not splitted.
