Afghan Kamar Accessory What is It?

I don't have it yet maybe next week. It's in the mail. Is it a knife in a sheath ?
There appears to be a stylized bird on top? Time will tell i guess. This seems to be similar but no explanation also from Tiri Fig 119. The bird like thing may be a striker for lighting fires.

Thanks, Thilo . Someone on the forum had a couple of these belts and tons of accessories for them and Jezails. The link you gave us sure looks like the same item, too bad no one was sure what it is.

I have had one of these belts for years and i have asked numerous
experts over time whose opinions i value, and not one has even a clue as
to what this could be. when i first got the belt i thought it was a knife in
it's scabbard. Naturally i tried to pull it out, but of course nothing happened.
I hope someone on the forum can figure it out........Dave.
