			Hello Semar

An interesting piece! Unfortunately I have no idea of the dapur, too; I cannot find it in any of my reference books. I see a blumbangan, tikel alis, greneng, a ganja iras (?) -- and I see some "notches" at the gandik. Are these original to the keris, or are they added at a later time? Is this another outside of (Surakarta) pakem keris? I don't know ... Regards, Heinz |

			Hello Semar

Yes, I believe you that these "notches" are original to your keris. I'm afraid that nobody here can give you a dapur name. This may be frustrating. I have several odd and probably quite old keris. Some seem to resemble this dapur or that dapur, but none of them really fits this dapur or that dapur -- they are something else ... Others don't resemble any known dapur. I bought them for their oddity; I like them, I appreciate them, and I keep them for further study and research. Who knows, maybe one day I'll find out something ... Regards, Heinz |
