Anyone familiar with 18th-19thC Brass cartidge boxes?
This pair made my wallet somewhat lighter today.
I thought eastern Europe? Anyone know anything about these, I've never had one before.

Hi Atlantia.
These are really a very nice pair of 19th c. ottoman cartridge boxes. I say ottoman because of the decoration style with the mosques.Also you are lucky enough because pairs are rare. Best. Ilias |

Possibly first half of 19th c.
Also the Greek name of this kind of cartridge box is "Palaska''. Best. Ilias |
