Hmm, picture isnt much, but to me it looks like i dont know name, but bladesmith took diferent parts of steel quality and result was “damasc” looking blade, i seen it on saber blades but not on yatagan.

I dont say it is that, but reminds me on that.
I realy dont know, can you take better picture under sunlight maybe?
