Admirable job Justin. It certainly is in the spirit of Moro tradition, even if it is not as detailed as an original hilt would be. You mightb want to consider a rattan wrap on the handle section. :)

Ditto!!! And welcome. You can do a light etch with vinegar and make that center pattern stand out nicely. I second the reccomendation on Battara's restoration work if you plan to go that way. :)

Welcome Bladder. I think this keris might be a fairly recent one. It doesn't seem to fit the Bugis bill for me regardless of the dress. I suspect this keris may have Madurese origins.
