naga shield

what do you think of this naga shield ...
I think it was used for ceremonies ..
it is small 74cm x 36cm in bark or wood .. usually they are leather ... the handle is not common ..

could you confirm to me that this parang is indeed dayak. there is on the sheath a label which says parang dayak borneo ...
the blade is thick and very sharp, it measures 40cm long

I would say nsakara. bandia. saw the handle that is typical of these ethnicities..it lacks a big part of braiding ..
I would say it dates back to the 1920s / 1950s
