Default I found something



I recently found the following weapons and thanks to god, I also found your site.
Can someone tell me what these swords and knife are and roughtly if they are old or if they are made for tourists.

As the pictures do not show they are heavy.

Hi,
they are all Indian (Indo Persion weapons.) The dagger is a Katar. Both the swords are Tulwar, although the more curved bladed one would be considered a Shamshir. I would advise you to search all three terms (using the search facillity ) on this forum.

Oh, by the way, welcome to the forum, they are a great bunch and very knowlegeable.

As to the question whether they are tourist or not.....to my eyes and your photos I would say they are not.... are there any markings/symbols on any of the blades?
