The City Museum in Munich has only a few items of arms and armor, and honestly can be skipped.

On the other hand, the Bavarian National Museum is definitely a must visit for anyone who has an interest in European arms and armor.

The collection of late medieval arms and armor is not huge, but the items are of very high quality.
