Default New Balkan Yataghan - need translation help!

K Pasta, Dudes and Dudettes?

Just got this Balkan yataghan from Oriental-Arms. The hilt is silver and the scabbard is white metal. The blade has a maker's mark and some silver and gold koftgari script. What does that script say?

Thanks

the scrip "could" said ;

made by Mohamed Aghra owner (? friend) Malek Ahmed Aghra

I wrote "could" because the word "saheb" could be translated as well as "friend" or "owner"

nice yatagan, bravo

à +

!Wow! What a great piece, Battara. I love yataghans. I even use it´s name as a nick on some forums. My deep congratulations, and I prey you will post a good dozen pictures of it, at least. Do I see some drawing under the decorated part of the blade?
Regards

Gonzalo

In the hope that Dom does not get annoyed with me, I want to add a few things to translation as a Turkish speaker.

The inscription is:

Amel-i Muhammed Ağa sahib ü malik Ahmed Ağa 1211

Work of Muhammed Agha, Owner Ahmed Agha H. 1211 (1796/97 AD)
