Default African?? items for ID and Comment

Just picked up these two items. Both appear to be from the same stable as the scabbard style and blade decoration is the same.
The knife handle is a mix of copper and brass. Overall 40cm. Blade is 23cm
The sword is 66cm overall with a 43cm blade, and the scabbard has an arm band similar to those on the Sudanese arm daggers.
Any comments or suggestions as to ID would be very welcome.

They are blades of the Tuareg people, probably of Niger; the arm dagger (the largest) is called "telek" and is characterized by the typical cross hilt, with inclined arms.
