Default Unknown sword, maybe from India?

In my fotoarchive I found pictures of a sword that once was part of my collection and I sold it some years ago because I never found out what it was and from where ist was. Perhaps there is anybody to identify this item. It is made from ivory with silver mounts and colour stones.

It seems this is quite a mistery.

Unfortunately, I cannot help you too much but if I were to take a guess, I would say North Africa...

This blade doesn't look too bad but the rest of it has the ring of tourist item about it...

Spot on Oliver! I remember seeing loads of these in Casablanca Souk and they haunt other souks like Istanbul, Muttrah and Sharjah. I think the bone is camel.
