Nice article Jose! I like the science these people bring to the issue of human and cassowary bone daggers. Very interesting article. Thanks for posting it.

Interesting how yataghan-looking the pommel ends look. Parallel evolution?

Perhaps. I also look at function - the formation of the joint end makes for a good and natural hand stop like a yataghan.
