A VERY FINE KRIS, THERE ARE NOT MANY LIKE IT AROUND. THE WIRE WRAP ON THE GRIP IS UNUSUAL TOO IS IT SILVER WIRE OR JUST FIBER THAT LOOKS LIKE SILVER? A CLOSEUP OF THE HANDLE AND POMMEL WOULD BE NICE. THANKS

Hi Vandoo the handle has silver wire, here are the pic s at the moment I did see this one I just wanna have it I don t much about these krisses but it is heavy and very big.

Very nice kris. I like the "basket weave" effect of the silver wrap on thehilt. This is not a unique example, but it is a very uncommon form of silver wire treatment on these swords. Ian. |

The blade is 57 cm and all over 68 cm wide 4 cm.
