Looks like a proper Sikh Kirpan to me, the all sarbloh* construction is religiously correct & preferable to other styles/materials of the grip. The overall shape is also very traditional.
*: True Sikhs only cook in sarbloh pots and pans. kirpan are required to be made of sarbloh, which is iron - steel is, I gather, accepted by most Sikhs, as long as it's not a modern alloy with other metals in it. |
