Default filigree dagger

Filigree being one of the oldest and for me most beautiful art forms used to make very nice silver and gold jewelry.
Especially traditional jewelry and a lot found in the Mediterranean, although more and more disappearing the last 3 to 5 decades.

Most of the forum members might know filigree from decoration on scabbards or handles but also very nice was the fact that filigree dagger brooches were made.
Enclosed one from the former Yugoslavia ( sold around Dubrovnik, Kotor, Mostar and Sarajevo) bought in 1985. Size around 2 to 2,5 cm

some more filigree art. First another broche and based upon the "ball" type it could be from Southern Dalamatia ( Dubrovnik/Ragusa or Bay of Kotor / Boka Kotorska, Kotor/Cattaro) to Italy and Sicily between 1920 - 1950

This one is not Yemenite but classic Omani khanjar.

More precisely is of the "Said" type.
