Default Shibria for comments

Hi, everyone.
I would like to share shibriya from my collection. Comments and opinions are wellkome.

Check the top of the handle you’ll likely find a name. The craftsmanship is that of Ali ibn Bani and he signs the top of the handles or the back of the scabbards. But its his work. Good piece, Relatively rare; the maker belongs to a north Saudi family but likely worked for orders from the Levant as well

A.alnakkas, thank you for the info. Unfortunately, there is no signature on the top of the handle and on the back of the scabbard. Here ist the pics.

Hey, did you check the back of the handle as well?

Here is mine. Yours is the first of his work that I see unsigned. Even his white metal ones are signed too.

A.alnakkas, shure I did it, but there is no signature as well. By the way, you have very great example of shibria.

Judging from the photos the two shibriyas appear to be of the very same or at least very similar workmanship.

The fact that the one in the original posting is not signed, might be because it was made by an apprentice, or was made at an earlier stage when the maker did not sign his works.
