Thanks Guys, no need to be apologetic about your honest assessment! I've always longed for a good bow and it'd be both difficult and expensive to find something late 18th century in good condition, I imagine! So happy with this esp the string in tact, this was from a notable single owner collection.
Can't imagine anybody produced bow-arrows in the second half of 20th century but I could be wrong! Thanks again folks, very grateful... Any idea which part of India could these have come from...!? |

Authentic steel bows are not common, but were used. True antique examples have very little embellishment.
