Just a minor comment: This piece is all steel (blade, heavy langets, guard) except for the pommel cap (probably replacing a former cup?) and tiny bits of gold koftgari(?) remaining on the guard...

Oh, my bad! Somehow when I was writing my response last night the whole thing looked more yellow-ish to me. Upon revisiting it it definitely looks like steel/iron though, so that would probably make it an *original* mid-late medieval style khanda, not a reproduction.
