Default Recent shibriyas

Hi all!

I received today those two recent but nicely made shibriyas, both probably from the1980's.

The bigger one is the most interesting in my opinion, the hilt is adorned with the imprint of 1980's Jordanian dinar, and the blade bears an inscription. Sadly, I'm only able to read the date, 1985, but not the rest of the text, I would really appreciate it if someone could translate it for me! (Maybe a commemorative piece?)

The smaller one is simpler though nicely made, it has an unusual crest ornament on the hilt, with a green glass cabochon in the center. I don't know if it has any meaning.

Besides that, two very classic shibriyas : horn hilts, simple blades, and tin welded sheath over a wood core.

Thanks in advance for your comments! 🙂
