Default German Hunting Sword

I offer a heavy German Hunting Sword from the second quarter of the 19th.century.
The grip is made of brass with rests of gilding. The shell is a sculptural stag head in a foliage garland. The ends of the guard are formed as stag hooves. The handle of the hunting sword is made from stag horn. The blade shows a epigram on one side : " Ein Jäger hat allzeit Verlangen mit wenig Mühe viel zu fangen " .It means that a hunter tries to catch a lot without effort. The other side of the blade shows a dog hunting an animal. The blade shows corrosion. The sword has a length of ca.75 cm and the blade has 4cm on the upper part.
A very nice and heavy piece.
Price : 400 € .Please make your offer.Shipping costs depend from destination
