				 | Letter opener

Just bought these two... Reminds me of a Faca de Ponta... Got them for almost nothing but can maybe use them as letter opener when I got any letters... Should appreciate any opinions at all about them... Best, Stefan Sweden |

So, assuming you mean Length Overall, roughly 8.5 inches. Letter opener size.

Thanks Detlef. I agree these are actually fancy faca da ponta made for the tourist trade with plated blades. The traditional leather sheaths suggest they were not intended to be letter openers (although they could be used as such).

Thank you guys, for your inputs. I really appreciate it! So much knowledge! Detlev, I must admit that I am amazed of your knowledge. You have what I call an eye for an item... You see things which I do not see... Well, I see them too when you have pointed them out for me... Best, Stefan |
