Sorry if my comment was confusing in the old thread. I later bought that parang, so I have handled it, and it is a Parang Pedang. But there seems to be tribal variations of the Parang Pedang, as among other popular Borneo parang, and yours is clearly a Murut version. Very nice collection of rare Murut swords btw. Michael |
