David, I have found a quite old vague of necklace (I think that was of my grandmother). I have sawn, with a little saw for iron, the vague in two parts. Than I have glued to the half part of the vague a segment of a silver bracelet (the little balls you can see on the pics of the dagger around the cup). Than I have used a pin of iron to collocate all (ah there is another smaller vague at the top of the cup, also this in silver). In the inner part of the cup I have used putty.

I hope that my poor english is clear enough

P.S. I think that the two vagues are silver, maybe a low grade silver
