This is just an intermezzo. Combination of different styles in keris fitting, is commonly done among keris lovers. Of course, it is not part of old tradition. Such as, a "sandang walikat" (an informal form of javanese keris sheath/warangka), wearing Cirebon (northern coast of central java) handle and Mataram (central java) mendhak (pls see pictures).
