i would like to know what makes this keris a keris from Solo for you 1. The handle 2. the sarung 3. the blade or its a combination of what ? |

Hello Empu Kumis,
The wrangka is in my opinion a typical example for Solo. The blade is typical javanese. A blade from Jogya is mostly smaller, more delicate. That's why I think in this case the blade is from Solo too. The ukiran is typical bugis. The mandak was probably a bugis one too, but i don't know what happened with it. |
