Yup, Looks like a golok to me. Wonder how those pesky Vikings got ahold of it? Fittings look steel to me. I have one that came with the fittings painted with gold paint. Had to remove every one of them to get it off. They had also painted the scabbard with house paint. You have a real nice find. If I had to guess I'd say early to mid 20th century. I'm sure that someone that knows a lot more about these can give you a better idea on its age.
