Default Need help w/ Shield ID

Does anyone have any information on the shields place of origin?
Perhaps the carved design on top will help in identifying.
Shield is light, somewhat desiccated.
Length 32in., width 7in.
Thanks.

Hi Kino,

I don't know the origin but SE Asian looks like a good area to search. The overall shape is common to some parts of Indonesia and the southern Philippines. The designs bring to mind those of the Paiwan peoplewho are indigenous to Taiwan. Nice old piece by the look of it. Interesting. I hope someone here can identify it for you.
