Bosnian Bichaq

The third one with Sarajevo inscribed on the scabbard looks like some of the Bosnian knives I have, based upon the decoration marking on the blade. http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showpo...4&postcount=21
A very nice one but simple made; could be a local little maker at the country side or a non professional who still could make a little nice item and around 1900 perhaps 1910 even…

The last ( the one with the red dots) could also be from other Balkan countries or another region in the Ottoman empire. I do not dare to determine its origin….

just got lucky at an action and did win a "bird beak pommel" bichaq and am looking forward to receive it soon.

Same features as Pitt1999 with the same decoration ( circular) on the grip as also seen by the most / standard bichaqs

more than humble; a beautiful one in the way it is made and also the 'C' sign on the blade...only the second time I have seen one like that, and nice curve on the grip..very smooth !

I was thumbing through an old H.H. catalogue, and I spotted this same handle style (as a above) in a set of tableware of knives and forks, origin attributed to Sarajevo.

The only difference being bone handled as opposed to wood.
