OK, folks, this is my first attempr at etching. RadioShack etching solution, diluted 1: 5, held for ~30 seconds.
I guess, I earned a "Gentleman's C" for effort, but the quality is unlikely to be satisfactory for Moro afficionados. BTW, if we have Dhafiosos, do we have Moron-ians? Woops, I am afraid I am stepping on too many toes.... Seriously, how does it look? It seems the edge is hardened and there is some pattern even in the center of the blade. |

Woops, I am afraid I am stepping on too many toes.... Buenas Tardis Ariel, Off course you'll earn that gentleman's c. from me, that's a wonderful kris alright, you also earn the right to brag! but you don't need to be so fiesty about it! And to answer your question, the only "Moron-ians I see. . . . . is you! Last edited by ernesto.e; 6th May 2006 at 11:42 PM. |

Thanks! I have a couple of good Moro Krises and a great Panabas and , with the acqusition of this one, I feel an organic bond with esteemed Moro-nian Forumites. Just need to find a transitional form of a sword, something like Kampi-shashka
Will you adopt me, guys? |
