A very nice example David,

Obviously a traditionally made Nepalese piece, of good quality.

I particularly like the scabbard, subtle decoration, and well constructed. Especially nice that the loops and buttons remain intact.

I would date your piece to the mid 1930's, although I think that the two Karda's are likely replacements.
