Robert does very nice restoration work! I see that the brass came up very "white" with cleaning--perhaps a high nickel content in the copper alloy.
I think your knife is very collectable. The strong Spanish influence in the hilt and the ricasso notch is certainly apparent. Ian. |

thank you for comment. The strong Spanish influence and the nice bone handle was the reason that I bought it but it wasn't stated that the handle was broken. Regards, Detlef |
