I have in my keeping the keris that was the State Execution Keris of Brunei, it was made and commissioned in 1842. The blade is exactly the same style.

Hello Alan,
I have read your earlier posts about this kris and I must admit I am very curious to see it. Maybe you could share pictures of it with us at the forum (as it is not a Javanese keris)? What are the measurements of your kris? I would suspect my kris to be a bit older than the mid 1800s. Michael |

Blade length 19", overall length 23.25".
Michael can you please tell me your reasons for believing this keris of yours to be older than mid-19th century? |
