			Unfortunately I didn't see this one. What a beauty. This kampilan hilt is exactly as I like them the most! Did you win it? Very beautifull old style handle! I am not sure, but I take a risk to comment this piece: I think it could be a variant of those handleshapes as they appearanced in North Borneo. Not exactly the "normal" Borneo model, but I think there is a good chance considering the shape of the handle. But than, this is just my thoughts and I hope we can discuss it to track down the origin of this kampilan. By the way, I never have seen a scabbard with such strange scabbardmouth for a kampilan. It looks also very odd. Also it looks like there is some strange resin or glue between the scabbard's crosspiece and the stem.
