There is a similar weapon pictured in "Traditional Weapons of theIndonesian Archilepgo" on page 61, fig 185, called a Kaso,
Description as follows: "Kaso (Kasok, Kasoq) Sumatra, Aceh A long straight double edged sword. The hilt is straight and cylinderical in cross-section, broadening towards th point and the blade.
