MArks on an ottoman rifle barell

ward Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Posts: 637	If the barrel is pattern welded Damascus it is a Turkish copy of a Spanish barrel. if it is not probably a Spanish trade barrel that has Turkish marking in arabic added. I have seen the horse mark on Turkish barrels and caucaus barrels. Standard Turkish stock. Nice piece a good example of this form
