Thanks for the compliment but it's nothing compared to some of the Rencong of my senior European collector friends. They have Rencong that the major museums would envy. With hilts more resembling the nice Rencong that Mick posted.

Isn't the Badui tribe a very secluded spiritual people of old traditions who doesn't use parang for anything else than farming?
It would be interesting to see the blades of those parang?
