Continental Dress Sword
Just came across this dress/court sword, side shell appears to have a wigged head in profile above some lettering I cannot make out. It has a triangular small sword blade. no scabbard, grip appears wound with copper coloured wire or something (?).
Any Idea where or when this comes from? more info & better photos when it arrives... needs getting all the white polish residue cleared off... |
