cornelistromp Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 1,064	the construction of the short tang, on which the strong tapering handle/grip is fixed with a single pin, so that inside of barrel is not damaged, reveals that this is a plug bayonet. 17th C.! they have a hilt so could also be used as a dagger. they were also made from broken rapier blades, whether this is the case here, I do not know. best, Jasper Attached Images
