Another old Moro barung for sale
This one is probably pre-1900. Nice laminated blade, as shown after etching. Hilt has long silver punti and braided silver wire, and capped with a nicely carved minimal kakatua in old banati wood (small chip on rear crest, otherwise intact). Ex museum with old yellow label on back of scabbard.
Overall length 21 3/4 inches. Length of blade 17 inches. Asking $300 plus SHI. |
