			iThe leatherwork appears to be West African in style . It measures , when closed, 7.5 x 9.5 inches.  Very faintly written in ink is a name which is largely illegible ... 'Lt A (?) H . E???? ?? th ( ? )

			It could also be from Niger or even Northern Nigeria. It is not new, but what does old mean in Africa? (- nowadays even 30, 50 years is sometimes considered old).
