One of my favorite pieces. The hilted is segmented ivory with horn spacers. The ferrule is gold plated in a rudimentary geometric and floral motif. The blade is a forged in a somewhat unique, almost linear, pattern weld.
The scabbard here is new. Dimensions: 26in. long; 17.5in. blade; blade is 2.75in. wide at its widest. |

Very nice. I really like the pierced crest on the kakatua. If it were mine, it would also be one of my favorites. Congrats. |

The combinations and possibilities with these and krisses just never ceases to amaze me. I think we should record every non-identical example we can for future reference via our search engine. |
