I do not know of the cannonball and the historical period comes. Weighs 2.6 kg, has a diameter of 8.5 cm and is made of metal. In Romania was found in the Bocsa, Caras Severin, at a depth of 60 cm. Thank you.

Hi Multumesc,
Although it is almost impossible to tell I would tentatively say that, regarding the relative depth it was found at and the state of corrosion, it might be quite an early ball - 15th to 17th c.? Best, Michael |
